Jiri has been passionate about massage from an early age. In 2003 he passed his first diploma in Sport Massage in Prague, followed by a course in Classical Massage in 2005. Initially Jiri used his skills to look after the well-being of family and friends and to provide massage as a volunteer, whilst also studying the effects of hydrotherapy.
Following a move to London from the Czech Republic, Jiri further developed his love of massage by gaining a deeper understanding of complementary therapies and in 2011 he successfully completed the Holistic Massage ITEC Level 3, followed by Spa Treatments ITEC Level 3. In 2012 he also finished courses of Deep Tissue Massage and Advanced Massage Techniques.
Jiri’s passion is unstoppable: he continues to gain an even greater understanding of the art of massage and further develop his range of skills - so check back soon to find what new treatments he can offer!
“To understand why I’m passionate about the art of massage, you need to look deeper into my past and my mind!
In 1996 I began to study Japanese martial arts. I realised that my thirst for knowledge about self-defence skills (the detail in and perfecting of every move) went hand-in-hand with the knowledge of the human body, its biomechanics and my wish to help other people.
I still practise Martial Arts, as a teacher and friend, helping the juniors on their way but yet still on the level as a student of my Masters.”
